I Love Our Beautiful Family

Hello There Scrappy Chat Friends,

It's Renee here to share a layout I created using this month's
Wish Upon A Star Kit.

There were so many yummy things in this kit, that I wasn't sure what I wanted to use first.

I started by using the patterned paper called "Misty".
I also used a piece of 12 x 12 Chipboard to layer the papers.

I cut the Mist paper into 3.  So I could use the middle section to mat my photo.

The next layer was the patterned paper call "Turquoise" torn.

Then lastly, the Kaisercraft Cardstock "Coconut".

Here is what the layers looked like.

I then doodled a little.
Stamped with a script stamp.
Rubbed a little Gold Rub On from the kit - look at all the wonderful colours you get to use for many future projects!

I also used a spray (not in the kit) to colour the ribbon from the kit to get it to that pretty green.

With the title, I used some chipboard lettering from a previous kit.
I inked them to be the pretty green colour.

Then, I used the DecoArt One Step Crackle paint over the top to get that crackle look - yes you get a whole jar in the kit as well!

Here are some close-ups:

I added a little black thread.

There are so many beautiful sentiments in this kit to use.

This kit also features some less consumable product that you can find a bit more about and have a play with! Aside from the divine papers by Kaisercraft in the kit, there is corrugate paper, Cardstock, fun embellishments as well as DecoArt 'One Step Crackle', Metallic rubon containing 7 divine colours, and simply beautiful script ribbon. Once again a kit jam packed with product for you to learn and get creative with.

Kim will take you through using the product along with some staple items in your stash to make the 3 stunning layouts you can see in the graphic.  So get your willingness to learn as you create three different layouts with the help of THREE videos.  You are sure to nail all the techniques for each layout that don't have a view by date - you get to watch them forever if you wish!
