Hi There Scrappy Chat Friends,

It's Renee here, to share with you a layout I have made using the April Kit.

This is my first layout, out of 3 that I have made using this super trendy kit!!

I went a little chalkboard crazy with this layout. 

The layout started with the background.

I used the Crafter Workshop template from the kit in the bottom right with some textured paste.

I then also made a line across the middle using the same pattern from the template.

Because of how defined the spots were, I decided to make a border using the dot pattern.

This was all done using my Faber Castell White Pitt Pen. 

But you could use a white pen of any description.

Here is how it looked when I finished that process:

I then began layering the photos and some paper that I made to look like polaroid picture.

I cut up a few strips of the mesh that was included in the kit to show in the back of the pics.

There are so many funky pics that can be turned into embellishments from the patterned paper.

Using the paper called "Say Cheese" and the twine from the kit I made a Camera Banner.

I wrote my journalling in white pen.

The title was cut out using the paper from the kit and my silhouette machine.

I really loved the colors of this kit and how this layout turned out.

You Love To Ride

Renee, here to share with you a layout I have made using the March Kit.

There are so many fantastic ideas that the design team have to share.

I chose to make my layout a little boyish!!

There are few different techniques I used on this layout that I would love to share with you.

My first technique is how I put the background together.

These are the products I used:

Along with these above I used Spellbinders Stars 5 die set, nested together to create different size stars out of the Heidi Swapp Paper in the kit.

It is no secret I love to stamp.  And one of my favourite things about this kit

is the Kaisercraft stamp set.

I used Hero Art Neon inks, but you can really use anything that you have in your stash at home

and achieve the same thing.

It means that you can take a blank white sheet of cardstock and turn it into patterned paper.

See how the design element is almost like a letter Z.  It takes your eyes from the top left to the top right,

diagonally down and then to the bottom right.

The next technique is how I was able to achieve the textured stars on the background.

Using the Pigment IZink, that came in your kit.

I used a medicine cup.  

Added my texture paste (start with a little bit first, you can always add more)

I used about 2 squirts of the IZink.

Mix until it is smooth.

If you need to add more color you can.

Keep adding until you get the color you want.

Then, using a stencil and a palette knife, I scraped the mixture over the stencil in the three

areas on the background of the layout.

Here is how it worked out.

Technique Number 3 is what I did with the twine.

I wanted to bring some red into the layout to match the photo I used.

So I painted the paper twine with red paint.

Let it dry.

Then shaped it to become a zig zag embellishment.

For the Title of the Layout I used the Jillibean Soup Word Stickers from the Kit

and some red paint again.

The other part of the Title is Kaisercraft Chipboard Lettering from my stash.

I inked them first.

Then using the Tinby Metallic Melts from the Kit,

I embossed onto the lettering.

Here is something to keep you busy over the Christmas holidays!  Yes another great kit to help you learn some new techniques, play with product you possibly haven't before and create 3 fun layouts.

Spellbinders dies have been used in the creation of the layouts, and whilst not included in the kit, are very easily adapted patterns for those that do not own a die cutting machine.  Dies can be purchased with your kit, so advise if you are interested in these when ordering.  Dies used in this kit are Petite Scalloped Circles large & Labels twenty-two.  

The techniques are quite unique and so I have included THREE videos to help you nail them for each layout.

Hi Everyone, the next kit is here!  How exciting that this kit will not only include the usual 3 layouts for you to create, but also at least 3 videos again!  YES how awesome is that!  Two of the videos are full creation videos as well!  You will see and learn many different techniques using the yummy product in the kit.  As always the kit is more than a bunch of goodies... it is like doing 3 classes in the comfort of your home learning many different techniques.

So here it is, our new kit.

This kit features some cool less consumable product and filled with LOADS of techniques to learn!  All teamed up with newly released Simple Stories papers.  There is stickers, We R Memory Keepers washi tape, Cardstock, and some fun bits and pieces to play with and use in some unusual ways!  Each kit also has a full Liquid Pearls bottle and PanPastel which you will be learning loads of different ways how to use.   We are getting the spirit of Christmas a little early with this one, getting 2 Christmas layouts done and out of the way.  The third is all about showing you that you can use very Christmas themed paper to create a non Christmas theme layout.  A technique that will come in handy with your left over papers after making Christmas layouts and cards!

Hi Everyone, the next kit is here!  How exciting that this kit will not only include the usual 3 layouts for you to create, but also at least 3 videos again!  YES how awesome is that!  You will see and learn many different techniques using the yummy product in the kit.  As always the kit is more than a bunch of goodies... it is like doing 3 classes in the comfort of your home learning many different techniques.
